This board is an edge board. It creates lift real early making this board paddle extremely well into waves and it offers more hold or bite comparable to a displacement hull. This board is made for speed and usability for surf in small to good sized surf. Hard rail off the tail to provide release in water. The power blade type fin made by Hydrofile Surf Craft is a perfect match to provide speed, release and hold for this board.
