With generous advice from Paul Gross (4th Gear Flyer), Graeme Webster (G-Mat UK), Ben has been handmaking surfmats in his New England workshop since 2023. A year prior, a strike mission to Peru during a historic run of swell completely shifted his focus from bodysurfing to riding inflatables. Previously, Ben was a staff photographer for Surfer Magazine traveling to El Salvador, Brazil, Mexico, Tahiti, Namibia, and Chile.
